Located in a suburb of Seattle our hospital offers key services including the Family Birth Center, advanced Diagnostic, Heart Care and Orthopedic services and our Oncology Cancer Care Centers. We also offer the high-tech heart Catheterization Lab, part of our sophisticated heart care services; the homey comforts of the Family Birth Center and the modern Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) facility, all located at on the hospital campu
We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services. Our Surgical Services at include operating room, PACU, outpatient surgery, endoscopy, central sterile, and cath lab. The Surgical Services Director will coordinate and oversee these areas in conjunction with coordinators of each modality. Director responsibilities include but are not limited to: business growth, staffing, day-to-day operations in each area of surgical services, adherence to all quality initiatives and regulations, communication of all policies/procedures of the facility with the staff, budgeting, and scheduling. This leadership role is a great opportunity for an experienced, hands-on surgical nurse manager to make a difference in our community hospital.
Requirements:
- Current RN
- BSN prefer
- Current WA license preferred
- 7 years+ Surgical/Operating Room experience
- Seven (7)+ years current surgical nursing experience; two (2) years of management experience in surgical nursing required.
- Budget experience required
- Exceptional leadership, communication and organizational skills
