Job Description
Our client is a specialty lines insurance company based within the Richmond Virginia metro area. They offer property and casualty insurance, within the excess and surplus-lines segment. They are in a rapid growth mode and seek seasoned, entrepreneurially minded, successful Underwriters to join their growing team. Positions also include potential owner eligibility and common stock, They are actively seeking experienced underwriters for Direct Hire. The Underwriters that will be considered will have backgrounds in any of the following areas: ? Business Healthcare ? Allied Health ? Environmental ? Property ? Excess Casualty ? Professional Liability ? Primary Casualty Position Requirements: • Minimum of 4 years successful Underwriting experience • Minimum of 3 years underwriting experience in excess and surplus lines. • Strong communication skills and a strong attention to detail. • Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to travel within assigned territory a must. • Minimum - Bachelor’s degree and previous insurance educational work strongly desired Desired but not required • CPCU or ARM or ASLI
